Teatro di Milano

From the restoration of a cinema of the 70s was born a theater that takes the name of the city that houses it: the Teatro di Milano. Operation maker is Maestro Carlo Pesta, President of the Ballet of Milan, one of the most important artistic institutions of our country.

The new facility has a capacity of 500 seats on two levels: stalls and gallery. A large foyer with bar service welcomes the audience in a warm and elegant atmosphere. The big stage of 150 square meters is equipped to accommodate events of all kinds. The excellent acoustics makes the room particularly suited to classical and jazz music. The theater got in November 2013, the final preparations for use by the Municipality of Milan and became one of the official halls of the city.

The Artistic Direction and Management is entrusted to Maestro Carlo Pesta. He graduated from the Academy of Dance Choreographic Academy of La Scala and the Bolshoi in Moscow, after a brilliant career as a dancer has successfully undertaken the Manager of the Entertainment business, becoming one of the most significant Italian and coating manufacturers in time prestigious positions: former General Manager of the Teatro Coccia in Novara, Artistic Director of the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago and professor of the History of Dance and Science of Theatre Arts at the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Milan.

The Management of the Company is entrusted to Agnes Omodei Salè, Maitre de Ballet formed with teachers of renown and professional experience in prestigious ballet companies and theaters including the Teatro alla Scala, the Arena di Verona and the Town of Bologna; Since 1994 he is Director of the tuttoDanza tested editors.

The Theatre Department is headed by Marco Daverio, creative director with international experience, author and artistic producer of shows and musical comedy hits, event organizer and editor of a performance heading into a monthly national circulation.
