Théâtre de Carouge

The Theatre Workshop of Carouge-Geneva, two theaters, two different atmospheres where to meet, exchange, share in a friendly atmosphere around a play.

Created in 1958, the Théâtre de Carouge-Geneva Workshop has become a place of creation ambitious and demanding, inviting the public to discover innovative shows.

Replays discoveries in the Theatre, in half a century, presented nearly 300 new productions. Today it is a key institution of the French-speaking and Francophone cultural landscape.

Since 1 July 2008, the director and actor Jean Liermier is the new director. Today, in its way, it continues the theatrical and human adventure initiated by François Simon continuing to question the present the great works of the repertoire.
