Théâtre Joliette-Minoterie

The Joliette Milling Theatre, formerly the Flour Milling is a subsidized theater for contemporary writing. After over 25 years of programming in the old improvisational theater, a new theater was built in Joliette in 2013, led by Pierrette Monticelli and Haim Menahem.

Architecture The theater was designed on the pattern of the old Flour Mill with the same desire to be welcoming, open to its environment. We find all the areas included in a modern, unique and warm with two theaters in the basement (a large hall with 280 seats and a small multipurpose room of 120 seats), two studios, a large hall gathering the bar, the fireplace and the library, with a central atrium on the ground floor is largely open on the new Place Henri Verneuil.
