Till Richter Museum - Schloss Buggenhagen : International Contemporary Art

The Till Richter Museum offers the most talented, national and international young artists, a stage and a springboard for their careers. We do that because we expect that the artists you see here today will succeed internationally in the future.

As a privately financed and run institution, the house fulfills all the classic functions of a museum: collection, preservation, documentation, research, education - it makes art accessible at all levels.

Both the own collection and the temporary exhibitions include all media from painting to sculpture to photographic and video art.

Each summer, three artists are invited by a jury to create works for three months at the Rising Stars Residency, which will be exhibited below.
