World of Science - Science and Technology Center, Ostrava

The Science and Technology Center ( STC ) is a project created in the Lower Vitkovice area in Ostrava , supported by the European Union funds and the Czech Republic's budget . This platform is made up of two parts, The Small World of Techniques (Objective Interactive Exposition of U6), which focuses on the history of traditional technical disciplines and the World of Technique (STC) aiming at the present and future of science disciplines. The basic idea of ​​the project is to increase the prestige of science and research , to change the access to technical disciplines, to popularize them and to make it accessible to the general public.
