What is the Arts 'n' Boards?

In short: breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday brunch, drinks, art and surfing

In detail: A place where more happens than just food and drink. In addition to regular art exhibitions and exhibitions, the Arts 'n' Boards has an exciting program to offer. You want to know what happens next with us? https://www.facebook.com/pg/artsandboards/events/

Also our food is art. Whether beef sirloin served in a baked potato, fish appetizers in the glass tower or a Eisbach cocktail on the style of the house ... with us there is always something new to discover. Hunger and thirst? Then take a look at our menu or drinks list http://www.arts-and-boards.de/wp-content/uploads/DRUCK-ESSEN-WINTER-2016-2017-web.pdf http://www.arts-and-boards.de/wp-content/uploads/Final-GETR%C3%84NKE-2017-fertig-Druck.pdf

The combination of the owner's two great passions - art and surfing - offers an exciting ambience for our exceptional restaurant and cozy bar.

  Why Arts?

Uli Richter has been the proud owner of Galerie Richter & Masset for 20 years, focusing on Pop Surrealism and Urban Art. As the Hadern district of Munich is not particularly central and it was time for a change, Uli decided to combine his gallery with a café and relocate to Schwabing. A place that will guarantee a high number of visitors. The artworks from the gallery collection will decorate the walls of the Arts 'n' Board in the future.

  Why boards?

In addition to his great interest in art, Uli Richter discovered surfing in the 70s and opened the first German surf school in Europe. "Uli's Surfing School" existed from 1977 to 1995. He wrote a book titled "Surfing, the Fascinating Surfing Game" and still enjoys the incomparable freedom on the board at a ripe old age in southern France.
