Portofranco overlooks the iseo lake from the mountainous side of its eastern shore. It is the home of Daniele, who was born and raised in Ravenna, where the flat vastness of the sea and the plain made him dream of a different world, moved, collected, as an adult, he found here, between this embrace of mountains around the pearl of the lake.

As in the soul of Daniele, also in Portofranco, the dwelling lovingly cared for by him, coexist the dimension of vastness and that of the welcoming refuge. Portofranco is a quiet house among the houses of a quiet village and you can live a pleasant and, precisely, home relaxation, thanks to the large living room and the two gardens with porch, facing, one, towards the sun in the morning and the other, towards the setting sun. But here you can also breathe the vastness, because Daniele is a globetrotter and Portofranco bears witness to distant countries and legendary civilizations. For example, the two rooms on the first floor made available to guests are called "peacock" and "the heron" due to the presence of two large paintings coming from trips to the bright Indonesian islands.

Daniele, now retired, has been an appreciated chef: on the beaches of the romagna, in two prestigious restaurants in Brescia and on Lake Iseo. In this respect too, the vastness of experience and professional relationships is combined with the familiarity of the trait and the taste for home cooking, which Daniele has inherited from the original Romagna spirit.
