The Casale Poggio Nebbia Farmhouse, consists of recently renovated country houses in full harmony with the surrounding environment and with the style of Maremma. The lodgings, furnished in perfect Arte Povera style, simple and refined at the same time, transmit all the warmth of country hospitality. Each room is equipped with all the comforts necessary to make your holiday unforgettable, (independent heating, air conditioning, mini bar, wi fi, TV, and a panoramic outdoor porch furnished with table and sofas). The company restaurant offers the possibility to taste refined and high quality dishes, prepared according to the ancient recipes of our grandmothers, with the biological products deriving from the cultivations and farms, accompanied by our excellent wines. Located in the most panoramic point of the hill , and equipped with large windows, provides an impressive view that goes from the sea to the mountains of Tolfa, passing through the valleys and rolling hills of the Maremma landscape. The area dedicated to relaxation has been conceived as a space in which to regenerate in a completely natural way. A panoramic swimming pool, set in an amphitheater dug in the rock covered with large flowering bushes and surrounded by a large green space, is the ideal environment to enjoy a moment of true well-being dedicated only to ourselves. In the summer, to make the stay in the pool even more suggestive, it is the flight of the Cruccioni, (magnificent birds with very colorful plumage) that whirling in the air transmit all their vitality. Elegant, refined but also very well integrated into the rural environment that surrounds it. The restaurant at Casale Poggio Nebbia, with its 30/35 seats at the table, is the ideal place for intimate ceremonies. The position of Casale Poggio Nebbia, built in the heart of the Farnesiana protected area, one of the areas of greatest naturalistic value in the whole Maremma; offers guests of the farm, the opportunity to practice many outdoor activities. For this reason, our structure has specialized in the offer of holidays combined with sports activities such as horse riding, enduro off road, mountain biking and trekking on foot mainly aimed at the observation of the many varieties of birds that populate this protected area. Behind the farm, there is also the Ripa Maiala Falesia, which together with that of Sperlonga, is the most important in central Italy. Having all these possibilities enjoying the warm and relaxing country hospitality, made of good food, excellent wine and a very familiar atmosphere. The Poggio Nebbia farm was born in the early 1900s when our grandparents left the Marche to settle in Tarquinia. Traditionally, farmers and breeders, working hard, have slowly expanded the farm's agricultural potential by acquiring new land. Later our parents, with tireless tenacity, continued to develop the activity through the continuous search for quality in their agricultural productions. Today, now the third generation of farmers, we have gone from primary production only, to direct processing in the company, putting the product on the market through direct sales on the farm. In the company shop, you can buy extra virgin olive oil, wine and honey directly produced by us, as well as jams, oil and biscuits, produced by our sister farm Poggio Nebbia The farm has a total area of ​​60 ha. cultivated with vineyards, olive groves, orchards, cereals and fodder. While using modern technologies in step with the times, our cultivation criterion has remained very linked to the ancient cultivation traditions. Having entered the biological regime for the past 5 years, we love respecting the times of nature, so we only do crops in the open field, using only organic fertilizers without the use of herbicides or chemicals of any kind. The collection of fruit, grapes and olives is done strictly by hand. Our organic alfalfa fields guarantee an excellent diet for company livestock and allow us to sell high quality forage. Most of the cereal production (durum wheat, spelled and barley), is sold to large retailers, but an important part is transformed into flour that we use in the farm for the preparation of pasta, bread, desserts and excellent winter soups.
