History

Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret is located in one of Oslo's most famous buildings and one of Norway's finest Art Deco houses. The building was drawn in the 1930s and retrieved its inspiration from Empire State Building in New York. The house was called the "skyscraper" on folkmind. Later, the Folkeeateret, which served as Oslo's opera, opened the new opera opened in Bjørvika in 2008.
