Δημοτικό Περιφερειακό Θέατρο Ιωαννίνων

Ioannina Municipal Theater (DI.PE.TH.I.) was founded in 1983, starting with five other DI.PE.THE the institution of Regional Theaters. It is the natural continuation of the Continental Organization Theater (OITH), who in 1976 was first launched in our country (simultaneously with the Thessalian Theater) climbing professional theatrical productions in the Greek region.

Today, it operates in the form of municipal utilities, having based the program contract signed between the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Municipality of Ioannina and Epirus region, operators subsidize the operation theater.

By March 2014 has uploaded 102 professional theater productions, the repertoire to include works: ancient Greeks (5), modern greek (46), classic (15), synchronous (19) and covers (17).

The projects were presented from 4 theater tents (Central, Juvenile - Children, New and Experimental) at headquarters and in many major tours, covering more than 300 different locations throughout the country and abroad. They are given total 3.957 performances attended by 807,506 spectators.

the theater also developed a variety of cultural, artistic and educational activities in many areas of interest, while providing assistance with material and personnel when requested and feasible from its activities. The 'B' Theatrical Spring "is the seventh festival organized by the Regional Theater Ioannina. In the past six involving 23 troupes that gave 68 performances which were attended by 3939 spectators.
