El-Mexicano

"El mexicano" means "the mexican". The name stands for what makes our restaurant. Here you can taste Mexico in all its culinary refinement. As diverse as the peoples and products of Mexico is the cuisine of the country. The Maya, the Mexican indigenous people, mainly cultivated corn - the basis of the classic tortilla. Even game, fish, pumpkin and beans were already on the menu at that time - mixed with many spices and herbs. During the colonial period, under Spain's rule, new influences shaped Mexican cuisine - rice, olives, beef, Indian spices and wine came into the country - and on the table.
