If you want to start your journey with a beautiful view, the first stop must be the Palace Square or "Schlossplatz". In this beautiful square of "Neues Schloss" or the New Palace, you can enjoy the mesmerizing fountains, monuments and definitely a great beer. You can also then go for a shopping and enjoy many cafes at Königstrasse since the Schlossplatz is the extension of Königstrasse! Another eye-candy building is Johanneskirche! This impressive church was built between 1865-1876 by Christian Friedrich von Leins. And with it's gorgeous neo-gothic architecture, it is the best place to enjoy inner peace by admiring the amazing nature right next to the church. Also you can be friends with some ducklings as well, since this church is on water! Not very far from Stuttgart -only 12 km-, you will arrive at Ludwigsburg Palace a.k.a "Versailles of Swabia" which is a massive baroque palace with absolutely beautiful gardens! For further cultural activities, the first two stops must be the Mercedes-Benz Museum and Porsche Museum! The Mercedes-Benz museum was built in 2006 and it is the most visited museum in Stuttgart. In Porsche Museum you can get to see 80 vehicles and get to learn the history behind it in 5,600 square meter exhibition area, which makes it the most spectacular car museums in the world! For all time art lovers, Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is the best place to visit! Inside the museum, there are two exhibitions. In the "Alte Staatsgalerie" you can get to see art from 1500-1900 and in the "Neue Staatsgalerie" you can get to see the modern art pieces. For the contemporary art and modern art pieces, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart is the most visited museum in Stuttgart. Inside this museum, you can get to see works of Otto Dix, Adolf Hölzel, Dieter Roth and many more! For more nature time, you can go to "Wilhelma" ,the zoological and botanical gardens, which is also the best place for a fun family time! The place is also has an amazing architecture from 19th Century that you can see at its Palace and Park landscape.

Germany is famous for its beautiful castles, but the Hohenzollern Castle stands out with its size. The privately owned castle by the Prussian line and the Swabian Royal House of the Hohenzollern, was the ancestral home of the Hohenzollern dynasty, ruling Prussia from Middle Ages until the end of WWI. Swabian counts and princes, the kings of Prussia and even the German emperors stayed and ruled Germany from this gorgeous castle. The design of Hohenzollern was based on the chateaus of the Loire Valley in France. Surrounded by the magical Black Forest, this otherworldly castle is waiting for you to explore!

Karlsruhe is the second biggest city in the beautiful Baden-Württemberg region which is also close to the French border. The city is full of amazing museums and gardens and it hosts the two highest courts in Germany: the Federal Constitution Court and the Federal Court of Justice. Karlsruhe is also famous for its research centers and finest institutions of higher education. It's a great city for students and definitely for museum lovers. If you visit the city by train, you should first visit the Zoo first because it is located right across the train station. Karlsruhe Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Germany (it was opened in 1865) that hosts 4.400 animals with 250 species! After waving the most adorable red pandas, you can also check the Zoological Garden. Another must-see place in Karlsruhe is the Karlsruhe Palace. Mannheim was a cute small fishing village at the beginning of 17th Century. The city hosted Goethe, Mozart, Schiller and many more for a long amount of time. Two very important transportation vehicle took place also in Mannheim! Karl Drais created the first bicycle in 1817 and of course, Karl Benz built the first automobile with an internal combustion engine and integrated chassis in 1885 in here. Mannheim was a very beautiful city near the Rhine and Neckar river but during the World War II, the city was flattened by bombs. It was rebuilt from the dust but the architecture left modest, but don't worry there are still beautiful places waiting for you to be discovered! The Barockschloss Mannheim is a mustard yellow and red Palace, which is one of the most famous sights in Mannheim! Friedrichsplatz is a very popular meeting point for everyone because it is an amazing place to celebrate your special moments with your friends and family and also just to relax. You will be amazed by the cute flower beds and of course the famous fountains. The biggest fountain is named Wasserturm (Water Tower) which is located in the center. It is also one of the most beautiful city symbols of Mannheim. This lovely fountain was constructed in 1886, covered with sculptures and is the highest point of Mannheim with its 60 meters height. When traveling kids, Luisenpark must be visited! You can get to see lots of animals and beautiful plants! Kunsthalle Mannheim is an amazing premier gallery host modern and contemporary art from Degas, Manet, Kandinsky, Cezanne, Rodin and many more. The collection was used to be stored to create space for many exhibitions but the museum went through a renovation and now it has new 16,000-sq-metre exhibitions space! And of course, the Jesuitenkirche! This splendid baroque style church was built between 1733 and 1760. It is told that, when Mozart stayed in Mannheim, he was in love with the church's acoustics and great atmosphere. This beautiful church was also damaged during the World War II but it was reconstructed and today, it stands by its glory. You can explore this city within a day.

Heidelberg is one of the most romantic cities in Germany with its famous castle ruins, exquisite old bridge and magnificent nature. The city stands along the Neckar river which inspired Mark Twain to write Huckleberry Finn. At first sight, Heidelberg gives everyone a heart-warming welcome with the mixture of many natural colors of green and auburn. It is also one of the best-preserved cities in Germany after World War II, that's why the city itself offers a great experience of history and cultural activities. The Heidelberg Castle is one of the famous landmarks of the city. Its ruins stand at the top of the hills above the Altstadt/Old Town. The castle was constructed in 1214 but the "higher" castle was struck by lightning and destroyed by fire, so today we can only see the "lower" castle. You can reach it by climbing the stairs (if you really trust in your fitness) while gazing at the Neckar river or you can take the Bergbahn. Tübingen is a university city in the lovely Baden-Württemberg region in Germany! Just 30 km away from Stuttgart, Tübingen's history dates back to 1078 A.D. and it is one of the best-preserved cities in Germany. The city is located right next to gorgeous Neckar river, which makes it not only perfect for a barbecue and a beer on summer but also punt boat race! The Schloss (aka castle) of Tübingen is the best place to spend time and wander around! To have the best view you have to check out the side of the courtyard since it has a beautiful garden with a breathtaking view! The center courtyard is also nice but if you want to check out the medieval and beautiful part of the Schloss if you take the tunnel on the backside of the main courtyard that will take you through the backside of the castle. And also, you can take the path from the back of the castle through the woods to end up in the beautiful Marktplatz! The Kunsthalle Tübingen is an internationally renowned exhibition venue for contemporary art which has the classic modern period and of postwar art! Ulm is a cute town in Baden-Württemberg which is the hometown of the world famous physicist Albert Einstein and it is also home to the highest church steeple in the World! Ulm has a spectacular view since it lies on the opposite side of the Danube River and the whole city looks like it is sponsored by sparrows! When you are wandering around the city, you will see many statues of sparrows because it is the symbol of this cute city! The Ulmer Münster or Ulm Minster in English, is a Lutheran church which is also the tallest church in the World. This gothic church's construction started in 1377 and completed in 1890. The interior of the church is so gorgeous, you can't take your eyes off from the choir stalls by Jörg Syrlin and stone masonry decorations! If you want to see the most significant part of the historical city centre, you have to go to The Fishermen’s and Tanners’ quarter! This lovely quarter lies where the River Blau flows into the Danube and back in the time it was a home to skilled craftsmen! Today, you can eat the best Bavarian food, wander around galleries and shop for souvenirs in this same quarter! And if you have time, check out the Museum of the Bread Culture in Ulm! It is known that, bread is the building block of every diet on earth and sure Willy Eiselen and his son Hermann Eiselen knew that when they started the crusty enterprise in 1955 as an association and in 1960 as an exhibit! Schwetzingen is located in gorgeous Baden-Württemberg region and looks much like any other German towns with its half-timbered houses and sheer beauty. The town square is very neat and cute. If you want to visit Schwetzingen, you have to visit The Schwetzingen Castle and its breathtaking garden! The Schwetzingen Castle was built around 1700-1750s but mostly due to lack of funds, the building constructed as very simple and modest. But its garden is a whole another story. Due to the gardens size, the castle is known as "the gardens and palace of Schwetzingen". The garden has a mosque, a Rococo theater, Apollo temple, beautiful lakes and ruins. The Rococo theater is still used as for performances. There are also more than 100 sculptures all around the garden. Prepare your legs for a long walk because discovering this massive garden will take about two hours! As you walk in the garden, you could see it has 18th Century French garden influences as well as English features. You will see by various statues of Gods and Goddesses and feel like you are in a fairytale. While discovering this mesmerizing garden, you have to stop and enjoy the bathhouse, the garden Mosque and the Apollo Temple! The bathhouse is so amazing, you just want to be a river nymph and enjoy a nice bath. After walking into the garden for hours, it's time have the famous Welde Pils with its award-winning bottle! You can get that in Schlossplatz, which is the area in front of the castle. There are also lots of pubs and restaurants that you can enjoy delicate meals. Also if you visit Schwetzingen in the Spring season, don't forget to buy delicious German asparagus from the street! You can explore this city within a day.
