Festival del Cinema di San Lorenzo

The promoter committee of the San Lorenzo Film Festival, in collaboration with the National Association of Friendship Italy-Cuba, Sally Brown Rude-Pub, LiberAzione, and the historic Hollywood movie theater all over the Cinema of Via Monserrato organizes, with the patronage of the 'Palace of Culture of the Town Hall II of Rome and ANPI Rome, the first Festival of Cinema in San Lorenzo, Rome's historic district. With the aim of re-designing Cinema in its original values ​​of cultural growth, but also of aggregation and sharing among people, the Festival will take place in the open, with free admission, on the 1st and 3rd of June 2017, via Of the Etruscans that will be transformed for the occasion into a true Village dedicated to Cinema with stand, BAR area and refreshment. We want to dedicate this edition to the Resistance Cinema, so we will screen 4 films on the big screen, a title for each evening, particularly related and representative of the theme:

Each film will be premiered in the afternoon by contributions from the Resistance by movie hosts and important figures of our history and sport of the likes of Alberto Crespi, cinematic critic, Giacomo Losi, former footballer and partisan relay, who will present his book On football with the writer and screenwriter Francesco Trento (David di Donatello Award 2017), Jasmine Trinca, actress, Agostino Ferrente, director and actor, Ivano De Matteo, director and actor, Valentina Ferlan, screenwriter, director, Lorenzo Lavia, Pumpkin, film critic ... and many others ....
