Museo delle Origini - Università La Sapienza

The Museum of the Origins brings together, through the wide range of its Italian and European collections, documents relating to multiple investigations in the field of prehistoric and proto.

As part of the Department of Historical, Archaeological and Anthropological of which it is part, it involves disciplines such as Paletnologia, Prehistoric Ecology, Prehistory of the Near and Middle East, the European Early History, Ethnography of the prehistoric ' Africa.

Like any university museum, the Museum of the Origins plays a vital role in maintaining a direct contact between scientific research and the general public, mainly made up of university students and school children, but also by cultural associations and individual Italian and foreign visitors.
