Bertrand Gillig, creator of the Galerie Espace G in 2004 inaugurated a new contemporary art gallery in Strasbourg.


Located on the first floor in the neighborhood Contades space / Bordeaux, in a Haussmann style building with hardwood floors, moldings and high ceilings, it has 90 m2 of exhibition space.


The program mainly concerns painting, drawing, photography and sculpture contemporary emerging artists in mid-career, coming in third regional talent to national and international dimension of French artists and foreign artists.


Half a dozen temporary exhibitions held throughout the year, with a duration of 6 to 8 weeks, interrupted by skirmishes permanent gallery artists, including Patrick Bastardoz Patrick Cornillet (Nantes) Jim Delarge (Paris), Elisabeth Fréring, Stephanes Joannes, Dominique Lomré (Rome, Italy), Ayline Olukman Pascal H. Poirot Jacques Thomann and Benedict Trimborn and other renown artists. Moreover, the art lover can discover the works of these artists in a stock available locally.


The themes addressed by conducting the gallery are: the link to architecture, urban or natural landscape, altering elements by time, neglect, and some kind of diagram of qu'abordent ground between the other other artists of the gallery, namely: Olivier Bignon (photography), Victory Cathalan (Geneva, Switzerland), Eugenia Jaeger (Painting, Germany), Catherine Metz (painting) and Alexandre Moliera (painting).


The gallery also participates in several exhibitions and art fairs: St-Art in Strasbourg late November 2010, AAF in Brussels in February 2011; Slick in Paris in October 2011; Plus Scope Basel in June 2011 during Art Basel and London with AAF.


The gallery also intends to conduct projects of producing works of art, especially in photography for which she will executive produced and part of the funding, and in the edition of sculpture or multiple prints.
