On Monday September 3rd 2007, Patricia Armocida‘s Art Gallery opened in Milan, Piola neighborhood. Galleria Patricia Armocida, which is named after its young owner, will be dedicated to contemporary art. The new exhibition space has been inaugurated with works by the Brazilian artists, Os Gemeos, who are exhibiting in Italy for the first time.Galleria Patricia Armocida stems from the need for a specific place to accommodate the uprising of the independent underground art scene. The aim of the gallery is to promote the new generation of protagonists in this art scene, from Italy and worldwide. The gallery is a reference point for artists who have deeply influenced contemporary visual culture by working outside of conventional circuits and establishing a continuous dialogue with the rhythms of the urban environment.
