The hotel takes its name from the voices Kosten (Wind) and Aike (place), but in addition to its Tehuelche name, all the quilts, curtains, folders, ironwork and plastic compositions were specially made by prominent Argentine artists recreating the ancestral designs of the town Tehuelche, recognized for their high aesthetic concept and perfect geometry.

The Tehuelches had a great mastery of the painting and creatively handled a wide symbology in their quillangos (Kai Ajnun), coats made with animal skins with fur inwards, unlike the current fur cape.
What remained in view was the animal's discarding, something not very aesthetic to say, on which Tehuelche women painted, with almost mathematical precision, motives that any designer of modern clothing would envy.
