[www.ilboom.it] Il Boom is a classy Bed & Breakfast, located in Trastevere, in the historic centre of Rome, within walking distance of the main sites of the city.

Its location, the historic building housing it, its interior and decoration, its large terraces and its enchanting view over Rome make Il Boom an exclusive setting for your stay in Rome.

You can find us on the Janiculum hill, in Via Dandolo, a beautiful tree-lined street, regarded as one of the most beautiful streets of Rome. It runs from Viale Trastevere to the residential district of Monteverde Vecchio, leading to the charming “Fontanone” and the breath-taking view from Piazzale Garibaldi, on the top of the Janiculum.

Il Boom B&B is in the only apartment on the second and third floors (attic and penthouse, without elevator) of an early 20th century building, recently restored.

A big flat, refurbished with passion and preserving, where possible, the original floors, plaster and window frames, combined with our love of the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s. We played with blacks and whites and decorated the rooms with vintage items and furniture, plus family belongings: a combination resulting in a personal style, which we consider very warm and welcoming.

Il Boom B&B has large interiors and a great outside space. There are two magnificent terraces (on two different floors) with tables, where you can have breakfast surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, while enjoying a breath-taking view of Rome. The sun-drenched top terrace, called “Il Torrino”, has comfortable lounge chairs for sunbathing.

Il Boom B&B with its spacious rooms, open-space living room/kitchen with large window panes, and its terraces is the ideal spot for your Roman holiday during any season. A relaxing green oasis during the hot summer, a warm and cozy retreat during the winter, while plane trees lose their leaves, and from our windows and terraces you can admire Rome even better, as you can see as far as the Castelli Romani.
