Teatro Le Maschere

It built in a historic building in Trastevere, and designed and built by the architect and designer known John Licheri, the Theatre The Masks arouses in children and adults, the feeling of crossing the threshold of a fairytale world.

For more than twenty years his productions are dedicated to young people, with a full season of theater-boys and a careful look at the educational value of the theatrical experience.

At the entrance door opens onto the turquoise colors, shapes and images that break the everyday scenarios and to introduce the fiction mysteries.

Inside there is a hidden, always-on world, from tailoring to set workshops, the rehearsal room, the inhabitants of the theater work tirelessly and at all times of the day the production and staging of the shows continue lively.

A blue sky, watched by bright little angels, welcomes the audience and colored little chairs, arranged on pine stepped Russian, favors an easy view for everyone.

Gradually the lights dim, the curtain opens and you come together in a new dimension ...
