Kačina is one of the most important structures of Empire architecture in Bohemia. A beautiful chateau built by Jan Rudolf Chotek in the years 1806-1824 as a representative residence surrounds an extensive English park with a nature trail, a herb garden and a greenhouse. Guided tours are focused on the interior of the castle or on exhibitions and exhibitions of the Museum of the Czech Countryside (part of the National Agricultural Museum).
