The KGB Congo Museum is located on the "Gray House" on the Hill of Riga. In the 1990s, the NKVD / KGB South Estonian Center and Prison Detention Center were located. Guests have access to the basement of the building, where the cells of the arrested were located. Some of the cones, carts, and basement corridors have been restored in their former form. Other prison chambers are filled with an exposition that gives an overview of Estonia's post-war freedom struggle and the crimes of the communist regime. Among other things, the exhibition features photographs and objects from Siberian prison camps, as well as materials on the history of forest brotherhood and secret resistance organizations.
The KGB Cells Museum is located in the once infamous "Gray Building" which was used in the 1940s and 1950s by the NKVD / KGB. The basement level, once used as a prisoner for political prisoners, is open to visitors. Part of the cells, the lock-ups and the corridor have been restored to their original condition. Other former cells are an WWII, the post-war fight for the independence of the communist regime.
