History of the Bistro It was in 1906 that "Café Paul", the barber's cafe, opened at No. 8 rue de Dampremy. In 1932, Jacques Secretin, former football international and son-in-law of Monsieur Paul, took over the management of the café. Very quickly, this old building becomes the meeting place privileged of the amateurs of football but also of artists carolorégiens. It was 1973, that Michel Dechamps, son of the famous Walloon singer Bob Dechamps, renamed the establishment "Le Bistro". Since 1990, we are the guardians of this old house filled with stories of our home and we are careful to preserve the Carolingian atmosphere that makes our "black country", a place so welcoming.
