The Pedagogical Museum was founded in 1922. In Kaunas. The founder and longtime leader of his founding was a famous teacher, author of textbooks, public figure Vincas Ruzgas (1890-1972). The museum was closed in the 2nd World War. 1958 The museum is named after the Republican Pedagogical Museum, and its exhibits are again made available to visitors. 2002 The museum was renamed the Kaunas County Pedagogical Museum, and since 2010 Lithuanian Education History Museum.
