Musée de Louvain-la-Neuve

The new museum UCL - Museum L - take up residence in spring 2017 in the ancient Library of Science of the University, architectural signal of Louvain-la-Neuve, designed by architect André Jacqmain. After 20 months of renovation work, UCL will open the first university museum in Belgium of large, more than 4100 m² to the public.

The museum heritage comes from collections of professors from UCL and private donors. Rub shoulders works of art, natural history specimens, archaeological objects and ethnographic or machines and inventions in science-based.

In its new scenography, the museum will ensure easy access to areas and provide support tools visit age-appropriate and barriers due to disability.
