Museo lirico Beniamino Gigli

Thanks to the passion of a collector who since 1948 is constantly looking for regarding the late tenor (discs, artifacts, family letters, contracts, music, films, newspapers, etc.) October 25, 1985 is the Museum and the Circle is opened bel canto "Beniamino Gigli". This wonderful collection is the result of extensive research carried out with dedication by Cav. Antonio Doria. Among the aims of the club, the first in Italy to be named after the great content, there is also the popularization of classical music to young and old alike and to this end are organized excursions to Verona for the opera season, in Recanati, hometown B. Gigli and opera concerts in Italy and abroad. The seat opening hours, from 17.30 to 19.30, on Mondays and Thursdays, you can listen to music, watch movies of the lyric genre with famous actors and attend live concerts cured by Maestro Dimitri Candoni. Lovers of good music who join the club are already 140; President Orlando Manfrini, together with the technical director, the aforementioned Antonio Doria, setting out the current and future programs. Since 1988 Knight of the Italian Republic, Antonio Doria became in 2004 an honorary citizen of the town of Recanati.
