Museo Sacro "El Tesoro de la Concepción"

The Treasury Conception Parish consists of a rich set of goods and objects used for divine worship. Its origin is due to purchases by the parish factory, donations and historical factors, as was the secularization of the convents by the laws of the minister Mendizabal, which, this parish was the most benefited.

Within this group we can highlight pieces of liturgical furniture, pictures, paintings, processional bier, sacred vessels, monstrance, choir, musical instruments, ornaments, etc. The parts shown not cater only to its historical, artistic or aesthetic value, but also combines the symbolic, religious and anthropological values.

Until a few years ago, the Treasury Conception clustered storage as exhibition halls in the high northern sacristy rooms that once were the parish house. Currently, the treasure occupies the main rooms of the building, these being the northern sacristy with the anteroom and hall Treasury, the choir, the southern sacristy and the chapter house.
