Parc e Museo del Cavallino della Giara

The P.AR.C. is a dynamic museum, inside which develops in three sections. The first, archaeological, welcomes two dioramas on the excavations carried out in the eighties on the Santu Antine hill, Genoni. The paleontological section displays a collection of fossils from the Geopaleosito of Duidduru, a town which lies in the territory of Genoni. Finally, a room devoted to educational workshops, aimed at both the public school and to other types of users. The workshops cover the sections in P.AR.C. (Archeolab, Paleolab) as well as topics related to the environment (cartaciclo). In addition to P.AR.C., Genoni you can visit the Museum of the Horse of the Jar, the former Convent of the Friars Minor, the Duidduru Geopaleosito and you can take walks on the plateau of the Jar.
