This old wooden walkway is used by residents and visitors alike to travel from the end of the Beach of Faro to the Beach of Barrinha, on the tip of the Ancão Peninsula (where both beaches are located). It has over a kilometer in length but it's still the main mode of transport for anyone wanting to visit the deserted beach (apart from personal boats). Picture © André Jesus
