Welcome to Salciua!  Situated in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains in the village of Sub Stone, the village of Sălciua de Jos, close to Bedeleul Plateau is the TOTU'BUN Pension in a unique natural setting, surrounded by natural reserves, waterfalls, forests, caves, rocks, houses and wooden chalets covered with straw. Sălciua commune is located in the northern part of Alba County, on the Aries Valley, about 70 km from Cluj Napoca, 100 km from Alba Iulia (the county seat) and 15 km from Baia de Arieş, the nearest town, on DN 75 national road: Câmpeni-Sălciua-Turda. Set in the middle basin of Arieş, between the Trascău Mountains and the Great Mountain, in a depression basin, it has a specific mountain relief, developed on limestone and crystalline shale. The altitude varies between 700 and 1400 m.
