PHONO Museum Paris - La Grande Aventure du Son Enregistré

The museum of recorded sound PHONO Museum contains a collection of one hundred historical sound machines of great quality unique to Europe and a large number of rare items and documents, all represent a considerable heritage. The set is the result of a lengthy research justifying a public presentation.

Phono Museum offers a shared space between permanent and temporary exhibitions theme. The space can also be used as event location.

The establishment of the museum recorded sound Pigalle, at the foot of Montmartre at 53 Boulevard Rochechouart, is amply justified by the very history of this district and the 9th arrondissement of Paris in general.

While giving a strong image of the history of the 9th district, this project offers everyone access to a heritage both surprising and entertaining.

This young and dynamic project interests all ages: that of nostalgia like the discovery, and it is aimed to Paris lovers and tourists from around the world.
