Praia da Rocha, Portimão

The most famous Portuguese beach, Praia da Rocha, offers a long and wide sand strip directly south of Portimão, extending toward the Santa Catarina Fort. It has easy access and supervision; beach facilities and beach sports are also regularly held here. You can also find a wide range of alternatives to the actual beach. There are many restaurants, bars and nightclubs along the seaside walkway, up to the marina, and many great spots to enjoy the view.
