Residenza del Corso

The Residenza del Corso is a recently renovated structure in the historic heart of Matera, the city of the Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993 and recently designated as the European Capital of Culture 2019. The Residenza del Corso is located in the homonymous Via del Corso, along an axis called "Seventeenth-century Axis" as it developed during the 1600s, in whose axis were built important palaces and churches that have had particular importance in this century. Via del Corso is the most important historical street of the city. A few dozen meters from the "Residenza del Corso" there are several entrances to reach the "Sasso Barisano" and the one called "Caveoso". On one floor there are 12 independent rooms of different types, equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste, attention and attention to detail. All rooms are equipped with a large bathroom, in a separate room, with a large window and a shower with the possibility of a steam bath.
