Theater Neu-Ulm

The Theater Neu-Ulm (originally: AuGuSTheater) was founded on April 1, 1994 by the theater-maker duo Claudia Riese and Heinz Koch ("Riese & Ko"). The two acting professionals (both with the state matriculation examination in the field of acting) had previously worked together for 15 years in other ensembles. In the meantime, they have developed a reputation that regularly attracts visitors from all over the region between Stuttgart and Augsburg and even from Zurich and Bern (whose feedback:) to the Theater Neu-Ulm.

The audience experiences contemporary theater with current topics in original productions. For the size of the theater, the repertoire offers astounding things, from world premieres of new plays in the field of spoken theater to elaborate musicals, for which artists from all over Germany are hired.
