The Théâtre des Martyrs is like this: a theater but plural, inscribed in the humus of a city and a region, affirming at the same time its freedom of tone, its openness of mind and the subjectivity of its choices, a theater that questions the present, tells the past - and vice versa - questions and confronts them, but it is also a theater and audiences.
