A square divided between the towns of Gorizia in northeastern Italy, and Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. The railway station of Nova Gorica is located at the eastern end of the square, on the Slovenian side. A metal plaque was installed at the border point in 2004, after the removal of a wall separating the square between the two countries. Slovenian version of the name is also Trg Evrope.
