In 1960 Valeriano Trerè after working as a factor for several landowner families, decided to buy from the Curia the first 14 hectares of land of the farm called "Saccona" and to set up on his own. The daughter Morena Trerè 10 years later, and already a very young mother at 19, falls in love with viticulture and enrolls in a course of Enoology in the school of Agriculture in Faenza. In 1974 the first wines were bottled, until then sold only in bulk. It is a continuous growth made of passion, experimentation in the vineyard and in the cellar and first commercial satisfactions. In the second half of the nineties also the son of Morena, Massimiliano, grew up on bread and wine daily and fascinated by a new idea, that of food and wine tourism, ventures into the company as a third generation. In 1997 the farm breaks out and the awareness that the future is in the volition of the production area, exploiting the union between wine, gastronomy and tourism. These are years of renewal that redo the make-up of the company. Restructuring of the farmhouse, construction of the underground barrel cellar, restructuring and expansion of the winery, felling and replanting of the vineyards, focusing on a higher density of plant (about 4500 plants per hectare), in an increasingly higher quality. The help of Enological consultants such as Attilio Pagli and Emiliano Falsini, complete the qualitative growth, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Today the company is spread over a surface of 35 hectares of vineyards for a production of about 200,000 bottles, marketed for the 50% abroad, and the farmhouse boasts rooms apartments and a restaurant at the weekend to attract tourists looking for tranquility, enthusiasts, and to discover the culture of wine.
