To ensure that our present generation also can learn more, as past generations have traveled by rail, organizes the club UEF - Historic steam express e.V. special trips with historic trains.

We have set ourselves the task that this historic railway material shall be issued not only in the museum, but that can be considered and this also witnessed in action at tours of inside and outside.

Our association "Historic steam express train" is an independent section of the "Ulm Railway Society". To this main club also includes other components such as the "Alb-Bähnle" the "Albtalbahn" from Ettlingen and the "Lokalbahn Amstetten-Gerstetten".

The Historic steam express train with its special trips all over Germany. Our vehicles are not only locomotives, but also express train passenger cars from the 1930 and 1950 years. All vehicles are obtained and processed roadworthy by members to volunteer work.
