Many of our guests love to travel the dense and well-kept network of trails that dot the surrounding mountains; lovers of winter sports can choose between the wide downhill slopes of Sandomenicoski or those of the bottom of Riale, in Val Formazza; at the nearby Simplon pass there are many interesting ski-mountaineering itineraries; our area spans within a few kilometers of celebrated lake scenery - Stresa and Lake Maggiore with the Borromean Islands and Lake Orta with the island of San Giulio - to the snowy peaks of Monte Rosa in Macugnaga and the Matterhorn-Cervino in Zermatt. Other interesting leisure opportunities are offered by the numerous cycling routes, both for cycling and for MB, well marked and with precise cartographic documentation.
