Amsterdamse Golf Club

The Amsterdam Golf Club (AGC) was founded in 1934 and was the eighth golf club in the Netherlands. The Amsterdam Golf Club is located in the outskirts of Amsterdam-West and Halfweg.

The AGC used to play in a 34-hectare area near Duivendrecht in a track of the track. The terrain was just big enough for 18 holes. On September 14, 1935, the first golf course of the Amsterdam opened.

In 1990, AGC moved to the current location at Amsterdam-Ruigoord because the old site had to disappear nine holes holes due to the construction of Station Duivendrecht and the Utrecht arch. In an area of ​​more than 70 ha, the architect Paul Rolin designed the new 18 hole course, which was taken on September 21, 1990. The job was renovated in 1992 and in 2006 by Gerard Jol.

The Amsterdam has spacious training facilities including a 6-hole par-3 course.

The Amsterdam is a real association where a team of 15 employees, together with more than 60 commissioners, and board members provide the most beautiful job in Amsterdam.
