Branch of the Pharmacy under the Eagle together with the Factory of Oskar Schindler and the Pomeranian Street creates the Route of Memory of the Historical Museum of the City of Cracow. These three points on the map of Krakow are three complementary stories about the war and the time that followed it.

The pharmacy under the Eagle is located in the former ghetto created by the Germans in March 1941 in Podgorze. The museum operates in the former pharmacy Pod Pod, led by Tadeusz Pankiewicz before the war, during its duration and for a short postwar period. Pankiewicz's pharmacy, at the then Zgoda Square, was the only pharmacy operating within the ghetto and its owner was the only Pole with the right to stay in the ghetto. The pharmacy became a meeting place for Jewish intellectuals, scientists and artists staying in the ghetto. During the bloody expulsion action at Zgoda Square in 1942, the pharmacy staff provided free dressings and medications for free. Serious recesses were used as storage compartments, saving them from deportation to extermination camps. Pankiewicz and his assistants: Irena Droździkowska, Aurelia Danek and Helena Krywaniuk were the links between the Jews in the ghetto and beyond, imparting information and smuggled food.
