Block House serves since 1968 the best steaks from the in-house butcher shop - crispy on the outside, soft pink and juicy on the inside. Together with our popular side dishes and the matching wine, we offer consistently high quality, for which we stand as a family business with our name.

Everything started in 1968 with the first Block House on Dorotheenstrasse in Hamburg. In order to be able to guarantee its high quality standards, Eugen Block founded various companies with the task of supplying the restaurants with consistent quality. Out of this thought and many other visions and ideas, the current block group emerged bit by bit.

In the meantime, 50 block house restaurants (39 x in Germany / 11 x in other European countries), 12 Jim Block restaurants, the in-house butchery and the Block Foods belong to the holding company.
