Ciné "Le Foyer"

It was in 1955 that Father Petges the idea of ​​transforming the former village school of Habay-la-Vielle, in cinema and entertainment. Parishioners decide to lend money, others involved in the work and renovate the building. In parallel, festivals are organized to repay loans. At that time, the cinema is operated only on weekends, but the success is the appointment. But the fireplace is also a banquet hall and a meeting of theater lovers ... in short, a meeting place for all villagers! Then, in the 1980s, the cinema is in crisis. We must admit that the competition is tough since television appears more systematically in the Belgian households. After a closing 6 months, the fireplace reopens its doors and offers a few sessions per week. For 15 years, our reinvigorated by ASBL  - The transformation of the room, the bar, the lobby (2015)

• Increasing the number of volunteers
• The transition to a new programmer (2011), digital (2012) and 3D (2013) to increase the number of films screened
