The history of our recreation takes you back to the year 1600. Located on the old Hessenwegen, "De Zwarte Boer" has been looking forward to welcoming coachmen of diligences and business travelers for 413 years. We are looking forward to YOU ​​!!! In 2007 and 2008 we have radically rebuilt "De Zwarte Boer". All authentic details have been brought back to our beautiful Hotel-Restaurant. Upon entering you will immediately taste the glorious history. The old bows, antique chandeliers, fireplace, cupboards, trusses and floors make you go back 400 years in time.

Brasserie "De Gelagkamer" This is the oldest part of Hotel-Restaurant "De Zwarte Boer". We would like to welcome you here for a cup of coffee with homemade pastries, a tasty lunch from our lunch menu or a delicious extended dinner.

Fine Dining Restaurant "De Zwarte Boer" With just 11 tables the place to dine in a refined way. The very tasteful, classically decorated restaurant is ideal for your extensive (business) lunch or dinner.

"The part" The old part of "De Zwarte Boer" was transformed during the renovation in 2007 and 2008 into a venue for parties, parties and meetings. The room has its own bar, terrace and approach route from the parking lot.

The rooms The four star hotel offers seven very tasteful and luxuriously furnished rooms, each with its own identity. The Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, East and West rooms are all different. Even the bathrooms differ from each other. What they have in common are: Bang & Olufsen Television and Audio, (wireless) Internet, the most luxurious Superbox of Auping (head and foot end motor adjustable), washbasins of B-Dutch (Belgian Limestone), Steam cabin of Cleopatra and Toilet accessories of Bvlgari. The "Sandberg van Leuvenum suite" and the Spring Room are also equipped with the hypermodern Geberit AquaClean toilet.

The Suite The "Sandberg van Leuvenum Suite" has, apart from the above facilities, a sitting area, four-poster bed, two-person Jacuzzi and a walk-in shower with a rain shower of 60cm !!!
