Der Hüttenstollen - Besucherbergwerk & Museum Osterwald

The Hüttenstollen visitor mine and the associated museum have been run by volunteers since the founding of the Osterwald e.V. miners' association in 1980. There is always something to do in galleries, museums and outdoor areas. For example, regular maintenance work has to be carried out in the tunnels, the tunnel guides guide numerous groups of visitors through the tunnel each year, the museum has permanent exhibitions, changing temporary exhibitions, and the grounds are well maintained. We would be very happy about new comrades. With us, everyone can decide what he or she wants to do and how often and how to contribute accordingly. So if you feel like working in a great team to look after and preserve a local attraction while learning about mining and the history of the region, you're welcome to come to us.
