From 1912 to 1915, the great Russian composer Alexander Nikolaevich Scriabin lived and created his brilliant works.

Established in 1918, the museum received its first visitors on July 17, 1922. In the 1980s, the Moscow Government transferred the number 2 building along the Bolshoi Nikolopeskovsky Lane to the Alexander Scriabin Memorial Museum, which adjoins Building No. 1 and constitutes with it the historically established Moscow city estate.

A unique concert and exhibition complex, the Center for Cultural Innovations “The House of Scriabin”, which includes an exhibition space and a concert hall equipped with multimedia equipment and an interactive classroom, was created in the new building.

The museum continues to be a platform for the birth of light-music ideas and the development of technologies for their implementation, to conduct an active concert and exhibition activities.
