Founded in 1996 by Lawrence and Effi Mild Zorzin, Arts Factory explores the graphic scene; at the crossroads of design, illustration, comics and graphics. About 200 exhibits - Daniel Johnston, Pierre La Police, Blanquet, Atak, Jean Lecointre Moolinex, Frédéric Magazine, Ludovic Debeurme, Kiki and Loulou Picasso, Willem, Jochen Gerner, Killoffer, Amandine Urruty, Anouk Ricard, Elzo Durt ... - have designed by these free electrons of the art circuit in the first address of the Abbesses district, then, as a nomadic art gallery in 2006.
With the arrival of Jeanne Grimoir - new partner and longtime friend, already casting their first team of artists - Arts Factory moved since April 2014 at 27 rue de Charonne, in local Gallery of ancient Lavignes Bastille. This historic landmark in the cultural life of eastern Paris, where Andy Warhol introduced in 1986 its only exhibition specifically designed for French gallery was already promptly operated by Arts Factory as part of its traveling programs. It now becomes a library with 200 m2 on 4 levels, the first major space dedicated to contemporary graphic scene.
