In the Garpola street, named after George Garpola, the first publisher who published in 1838 the first dictionary of the Greek language after the liberation, next to the Ancient - Roman as it is called - Agora, the Byzantine church of Agios Dimitrios and the Turkish Baths at the entrance of Pizar, which was historically the point of trade or resale of old objects, antiques and collections of Thessaloniki, in a 1932 building on the first floor, opened two new spaces on the vision of Angeliki Triaridou and a group of artists n and friends, with names GALERIE GARPOLA salon d 'art and CARRE MAGIQUE club de sedustion respectively, in order to accommodate and present to the public the city's art exhibitions and artists of modern Greece.

In the area of ​​GALERIE GARPOLA, the restoration was carefully restored, as all the building elements of the old building were completely destroyed by the previous users of the area, and an atmosphere of an old urban house of Thessalonica of the 1930s was given with the old handcrafted wood-carved furniture, Collections, works of art of visual artists of the time, as well as past works of art such as Thomopoulos, Papaspyropoulos, Malamos, Alexios, Poulianos, Germeni, Daniel and others.
