Galerie Kandisha

In the 5th district, in the heart of the Arab close to Paris IMA (Arab World Institute) and bookshops disseminating thought and Arabic literature, and not far from the Grand Mosque of Paris; Kandisha the gallery aims to become a bridge between Western culture and the Maghreb artistic creation.

The location of the gallery at number 30 of the Rue des Fosses Saint Bernard, opposite the entrance of the new Jussieu campus that hosts the very famous Paris 6 and Paris 7, far from the clash of civilizations, attests to its destination to cruise cultures.

Kandisha is the place where meet contemporary Maghreb art and vision of European artists in the Arab world.

This gallery aims to become the spearhead of contemporary Maghreb art: its 42 m2 will be dedicated to the discovery and promotion of artistic expression of photographers, artists and designers Maghreb. Alternately Kandisha propose to European designers to offer their view on this Maghreb with a thousand faces.

No limits, no restrictions, only a high quality requirement underlies the artistic project Kandisha, the borders of East and West.
