Galerie PARADISE

Paradise is a place made up of two apartments, a workshop, an exhibition space and a courtyard. It is a singular and unique place in Nantes, in the district of creation. It is the fruit of an adventure and human passions between two architects Agnes Lambot & Philippe Barré and two visual artists Beatrice Dacher & Michael Gerson. Collaboration or each brought his knowledge and skills. Agnès and Philippe thought space, financed and built this unusual building in Nantes, patrons and partners on this project. Beatrice & Michel, two artists with their thoughts, sensibilities and artistic experiences at the service of the same project. Paradise is to provide artists in residences throughout the year both housing and workshop alternately. An exhibition space of 100 m2. Place of research, experiments and demonstrations. A program of five to six artists in residence throughout the year. The artists come to experiment, create, produce and present. The residences can integrate contemporary art in the heart of the territory. They allow exchange between audience and performers.
