HOTEL MERICI

Hotel Merici Sittard is a special accommodation. The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated monastery in the beating heart of Sittard. The city sounds and crowds hardly penetrate thanks to the thick walls of the former Ursuline pension. The name "Merici" comes from the founder of the monastic order, Angela de Merici. Between 1843 and 1946, girls' education was given in the adjacent buildings of the hotel. Merici is one of the seven special monuments of the Kloosterkwartier.
